VOSGES & ALSACE - FRANCE
Admire the 'smokey blue outline' along the summits of the Vosges, inviting you to explore stunning natural scenery and stroll amidst beautiful forests. In addition to the fresh pure air, you may enjoy the numerous thermal villages throughout the region.
As we travel north into Alsace, on the winr route we encounter a marked change of scenery. In the splendid cities of Strasbourg and Colmar and in the quaint Alsatian villages you are invited to discover characterful half-timbered facades. Here you are reminded more of the universe of fairy tales than the ravages of war. The regions of Alsace, Lorraine, Champagne and the Ardennes are particularly popular at the end of the year, when Christmas markets line the streets and decorations fill the towns.
